Product Description Daktarin Sugar Free 2% Oral Gel is a thick, adhesive gel that stays in contact with the oral mucosa to deliver the antifungal action of miconazole directly where it’s needed. The sugar-free formula is suitable for people who are avoiding sugar, including many people with diabetes. How It Works Antifungal action: Miconazole inhibits ergosterol synthesis, damaging fungal cell membranes in Candida species. Local effect: The gel base adheres to the mouth lining for prolonged contact. Broad activity: Active against common causes of oral thrush.
